Check-in and Check-outCheck-in is between 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on the day of arrival or by arrangement. Check-out is no later than 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure. Confirmations: To confirm a reservation, a deposit of one night's stay is required. (2 nights for 5 or more nights and will include VT 9% room and meals tax) Guests who arrive after their confirmed arrival date or depart before the final day of their reservation will forfeit their deposit. Guests who do not honor their confirmed reservation will be debited 100% of the room charge for the entire period reserved. Cancellations: With at least 14 days' notice of a cancellation, The Riverbend will refund the deposit but withhold a $35 processing fee. If you cancel less than 21 days for a holiday period, (Christmas Week and President's Week)you will be charged for the entire booking unless the room can be rebooked. With less than 14 days' notice of a cancellation, the deposit is forfeited unless we are able to re-book the room for the entire reserved stay. Unfortunately, we have no control over weather conditions and therefore cannot not give a refund for early departures.
