Our policies are designed to provide the best experience for you and your family, whether you're a resident, employee or other member of our community.

We adhere to all applicable legal regulations and guidelines, and then we go above and beyond the minimum required because our generations of experience in this facility and community allow us a more holistic, nuanced and personal approach to elder care and support for those with disabilities who are unable to live alone.

Inclusion

It is the policy of Riverbend RCH to provide access to its programs and services without discrimination based on race, creed, color, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status. In addition, each person applying for admission will be individually screened to ensure that this facility can provide them with proper treatment.

Visitors

We welcome visits from family, friends and community members. Visits generally take place between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., with accommodations as needed.

We encourage scheduling ahead to ensure your preferred visiting space is available. We are happy to facilitate Zoom, Facetime and telephone visits.

COVID-19 Protocols

Per Centers for Disease Control and Vermont Department of Health guidance to reduce the risk of spreading contagious disease, we suggest wearing masks and maintaining six feet distance.

When considering whether to your visit, please be cognizant of your exposure to contagion, any symptoms or positive tests.

Safer options for outings with residents include things like car rides, take-out at picnic tables vs. indoor eating or shopping.

Transportation

Appointment coordination and transportation can be provided for medical appointments and some other outings. Transportation costs may be covered by insurance in some cases.

Privacy

We comply with HIPPA requirements in all communications and documentation concerning residents.

We value your privacy as a viewer of this website and we will not share or sell your data without your consent.

Payment

We accept Choices for Care, Medicaid and private pay. Your exact cost will depend on your needs and resources. See the Riverbend Contract link at the top left of this page for more details.
