These resources are available right in our town, with in a few miles or even a few steps.
Chelsea Health Center
A community clinic of Gifford Medical Center located just down Main Street from Riverbend, with doctors and nursing staff who can oversee and provide care for our residents and other community members.

Chelsea Senior Center
"The Chelsea Area Senior Center supports elders and family caregivers in leading healthy, independent, meaningful and dignified lives in their homes and our community. We support independence, self-choice and security for all elders through a variety of programs and services." They offer community dinners, card parties and other events.

Central Vermont & the Upper Valley
Our local region includes central Vermont and the Upper Valley towns of eastern Vermont and western New Hampshire.
Central Vermont Council on Aging
Support and information for seniors, family, caregivers and others around aging and senior wellness, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Gifford Medical Center
One of the area hospitals closest to Riverbend, Gifford is a small, rural community center offering area services including the Chelsea Health Center and Adult Day program.
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center
One area hospital used by some residents of Riverbend, DHMC is located in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, and is connected with Dartmouth College's Geisel School of Medicine.
Central Vermont Medical Center
CVMC is a member of the University of Vermont Health Network located in Berlin, Vermont, offering services to Riverbend residents and other community members.
Tri-Valley Transit
"The public Shuttle Bus System sustainably connects passengers to employment and shopping centers. The Dial-a-Ride System provides vulnerable residents, such as seniors and people with disabilities who can’t access the buses, access to comprehensive transportation alternatives."
Clara Martin Center

Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Vermont & New Hampshire
Part of the Dartmouth Health Network, VNH staff members provide in-home care including rehabilitation, palliative and hospice.
Bayada Hospice & Home Health

BAYADA Hospice's interdisciplinary team provides in-home hospice services that promote and support comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Home can be wherever a patient lives - including assisted living facilities and nursing homes."
